Located Downtown, next to the beautiful Avenue D event space on 4th Avenue, Civil Axe Throwing Birmingham offers an inclusive, spacious gathering place with 7 lanes that have two targets each for your throwing experience. Our coaches are ready to share their love of axe throwing with you regardless of your age, experience, or your level of athleticism.

The Birmingham location offers a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for sale on site. We encourage you to bring your snacks and nonalcoholic beverages to enjoy during your experience. Due to local laws, we cannot allow outside alcoholic beverages.

What to Know

  • Must be 10 years or older to throw. Participants ages 10-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Children 9 and under are welcome to observe!
  • Closed-toed shoes are required to throw.
  • Maximum 8 throwers per lane. Teams of 7 participants or less may share their lane with other participants (based on availability) unless a private lane (8 tickets) is reserved.
  • Outside food and beverage is permitted at the Birmingham location with the exception of outside alcoholic beverages.
